What age do you start high school in america?

Anyway if it's anything like british schools, just dont get so bored you want to kill yourself.

nope, in the uk we start secondary school the academic year one turns 12. (so mostly age 11 unless your birthday is in september)

Teachers will make your life hell, regardless of how you conform to what they want. Unfortunately it took me until 3rd year to realise this.
