Just doing an essay on the importance of Religion in Tudor Britain.

Paragraph One I've wrote about how Henry VIII used it to his own advantage on getting divorced and how with religion he had power over people.

Paragraph Two I've wrote about faith and how Mary I was an extreme catholic with the burnings.


I'm just wondering what else can I put in paragraph one and two, I've sort of split them so ones on the political side and power and the others on dedication and faith,

The power of the Catholic Church over the Kingdom of England and how once broken, our nation state came properly into being (could mention the Orange revolution in Netherlands, Calvinists in France and how it tied in with Elizabeth I wanting to keep the balance of power).

Write that Henry opened the protestant church because he wanted to save all those little boys.
