I just got back from a 5 day break in Kauai visiting family, now this isn't all about my vacation which is why I'm not posting it in that section, but I was thinking, I could honestly see myself living here. I loved every moment of it.

It got me thinking if you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

This is the beautiful place itself.

Will be interesting to see where people would love to live, and what home is to others. :)

Giudecca in Venice, it's the only place I actually look forward to going to. And I love it 'cause it's away from all the tourists, but two Vaporetto stops away from St Marco's! :) :) :)

I don't know really. I'm kind of happy living in the UK and because I've been brought out up here there's not really anywhere else I would want to live. I wouldn't mind going on a long holiday to somewhere in America or Italy though, haha. :)

England. I don't want to live anywhere else. I wouldn't mind some time in Japan, but I couldn't stay there. I'd like to move back to the Midlands though, or somewhere near the sea. I don't really like where I live now.

I would live on that island. It looks amazzzing! I would build my own house and my own everything. I would also have all my family and friends live on there with me. Sounds like a plan >:D

I'm quite content living in England. I couldn't imagine living in somewhere such as Australia or America, their weather is so on & off, earthquakes, crazy winds.. We don't really get that here! Not like we exactly get sunshine either.. but still :)

I wouldn't mind living somewhere else in the UK. I've been to Newcastle for a few days before and loved it there, so I wouldn't mind going there (anywhere as long as I escape Swindon).

I did always dream about moving to Switzerland or Canada though :P

Probably California, Hawaii or Ibiza!

You're welcome to come stay in Cali! :D

Some awesome places, really glad to see this thread is doing well.

Reading over the answers and doing some research myself I think I'd want to perhaps try the UK out too! :)

As I have never been abroard I can't really say where I would like to stay, most have been phases of where I want to go for a couple of days then stopped. As I have no plans to go abroad in the future as of yet it would have to be in England but as to where I do not know, England or Scotland probably though. Maybe by the sea.

I would want to live somewhere thats beautiful year round, have no disaster of any type happen, and not be expensive to live there and have ton of things to do. Yep, but somewhere like that probably doesn't exsist. Or live in a tropical climate.

I wanted to move to sydney but after spending 5 days there even though I enjoyed it that place is soooooo busy. Alot of the busses were full so I'd be waiting for ages for a bus.

The fact that I already live in arguably one of the nicest suburbs not only in New Zealand but probably the world, I am unsure whether I would leave this place, but I have always loved the Gold Coast in Australia and I could see myself living there as it is a nice temperature all year round and there are great beaches and a lot to do. There is also a strong kiwi contingent in the Gold Coast.

Who doesn't want to live on a beach with blue skys, blue seas and white sand? :P I don't know where I'd want to move, everywhere I have seen is based off movies so most are fiction I'm assuming. I'd like to visitAustraliathough.

Thing is you wouldn't because often times there wouldn't be any realistic jobs and what not. I love to go on holiday to Thailand often, but that doesn't mean I could live there as such. Unless you were retired of course :P.

Probably Singapore and Hong Kong for me are the best places to 'live'.
