Has anyone just been watching the university boat race on BBC1?
There has been so many incidents during the race today, including them having to abruptly stop the race due to someone swimming under the oars of the boats as a publicity stunt.
Then they restarted the race about half way, a few minutes later the two boats clashed and one of oxfords oars fell off. - the umpire said it was their own fault and the race continued meaning cambridge would obv win.
Then just a few minutes after the race ended one of the oxford rowers clasped in the boat and was rushed to hospital.
Its really been shocking :O Nothing has happened like this before in the boat race I believe.
Here's more info about the swimmer and a video http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rowing/17645929
