Pretty decent? Last 20 minutes was amazing
Gutted we lost, had an amazing second half though

Best start to a Six Nations I can remember for a long time. Although we lost, it was an awesome comeback :D
And watching England take Scotland for a gentle stroll was pretty decent too, I guess :P

England conceded two easy tries by Scotland. Shouldn't have happened.. Other than that poor first half performance.. awesome second half performance. Farrell really had his kicking boots on today.

12trees didn't play bad at all for his first game.. just felt he was over running a lot of the time. (Even the try he scored.. it was a forward pass)

Still think they miss the raw power of Manu. He was in my P.E. group at school you know :P

It was pretty much set in stone before the 6nations that Sexton would be the No.10 for the Lions but from that display by Farrell I think it's swung open again.

Have to praise Scotland because they didn't give up at all and 2 tries at Twickers is not something to be ashamed of :)

They really have picked up from the Autumn, more than I can say about Wales (though the second half wasn't too bad ;))

I really hope Ireland win tomorrow! I can't believe what is happening to France this year, what's happening?! The match earlier was awful but that was a great tri on Wales behalf! Odds on Paddy Power for tomorrows match:

Ireland WIN - 20/21
DRAW - 18/1
England WIN - 21/20

Odds are VERY close, will be an immense game! Can't believe I'm missing it for rehearsals! Hopefully nobody will tell me the score and I can come home ans watch it online.

With a rather disappointing second round of rugby (in my opinion) the most entertaining match was Scotland v Italy (in my opinion), followed by France v Wales (in my opinion) and then by Ireland v England in a rather a dull last place (fact).

The future is bright, however, with two appetizing games on Saturday:

Italy v Wales (14:30PM KO)
England v France (17:00PM KO)

And a juicy game on Sunday:

Scotland v Ireland (14:00PM KO)

Who are you rooting for and what are your predictions? (also have you changed your mind about how the 6N table will finish?)

For me personally I can see a comfortable victory for Wales, England and Ireland. But hey, that's just me :)

Touche, however Cuthbert at this moment in time is a liability. He's an athlete, sure, but he has no 'rugby' brain.

I wanted to get tickets for the game, but they sold out in like 30.25 seconds. Should be the championship decider though :P

Know exactly what you mean, he doesn't quite seem to have the hands and a rugby brain.
Just as a naive comment though, I think if he's pretty much told what line to run, his athleticism will do the rest for him.
Wales do have two gargantuan wingers though. Other than Fofana, I think they can be considered as the strongest pair of wingers in the tournament. North is a definite step up though.

This is true. I can see North and Halfpenny as the only certain Lions places from Wales and I'd love to say the same thing about Cuthbert but you can't really overlook the likes of Twelvetrees.

Been really surprised by Twelvetrees. He's done well, but I'm not totally convinced that he's got a place in the Lions.
If I had a Lions back line, it give or take it'd have
9 Youngs
10 Farrell - if his foot is okay after today
11North
12 Probably Strettle - even though we haven't seen much of him.
13 O'Driscoll
14 Ashton
15 either halfpenny or alex goode.
(Can't point out any particular/ special quality of Goode, but he's just seems to have kept his nerve)
Tualagi must go in somewhere for crashball purposes.

and he is the highest point scorer for the England team - bar Flood and Farrell at 10.

Watching it back, (not that I'm condoning what Ashton did), Fall did shove Ashton abit which is the only reason why - if you can class that as provocation. Eitherway, was unnecessary from both sides.

Just on an off note.
I forgot to include Max Evans as a winger in my backline.
Hasn't had much of a game so far, but he's such a dangerous character.

This tournament is actually depressing at this stage... I just want it all to end :'(

Wales have to beat England by 12 points to win the whole thing.
Thought Scotland could've topped Wales if they hadn't given away so many penalties.

Really could be anyone's game. Little bit nervous that Wales could win.

I thought it was more like 8? Or I may be daydreaming haha.

Anyone's game though ;) England favourites at this stage.

Makes it even more worrying. Do wonder who will be at 10 for England though.

I am genuinely it becomes the game of the tournament. How good would that be!

As exciting as it will be, I do sort of hope it's not going to be a game of fine margins - with just a low scoring kicking game.
Would like a couple of tries or so, but a consistently close score will be tense whatever.

I have never been so thrilled to see Wales win a game. It was such an intense and exciting game I couldn't really have asked for a better way to finish off the 6N.

I think everyone's predictions were wrong, though.

Was yours the one that had Ireland and France placed at the top? Well it wasn't such a bad guess in the beginning...

really shocked. Wales outplayed the English & deserved the win.

know it might sound a little unsportsmanlike and cliche but the referee was terrible across the board.

Steve Walsh is known for his dislike of England yes, but I don't think it would have cleared a 27-point deficit. Had Farrell brought his kicking game (and most of the English players brought their rugby game), then things may have been different :P

haha.
England were a different team. Did thing that they were going to be outmuscled - hats off at 27-point difference.
Missed tackles for England were appalling, but when you compared Cuthbert + North against Ashton (who has the most missed tackles of the games) was always going to win.

Sure the celebrations would've been good in Wales that night though!
Was happy for Italy to break some records this time around.

I was so relieved when I saw Ashton was starting. I can't thank you guys enough xD
I think it's a nice way to say "we're back" after losing 8 international matches on the bounce (not good).

I was so surprised to see Tuilagi being stopped as soon as he got the ball! But hats off to the Italians, really giving it to the French & Irish :)

Steve Walsh was totally biased all game... plus he didn't know the rules come scrum time. Dan Cole and Tom Youngs don't get annoyed for any old reason.... amazing that when they took Adam Jones off England could actually contest the scrums. Adam Jones... binding on the arm forcing scrum to collapse. Robbed, enough said

You genuinely think the referee robbed you of a 27 point game? Sure he made bad decisions in places, but England were truly outplayed on the day.

You can't go into a game expecting to win it.

Bad decisions lead to points scoring opportunities .... to which Wales took. They played well don't get me wrong, but if they beat us by nearly x3 what they beat Scotland. That's just injustice.

He's an awful ref and should be struck off perm, even Barnsey would have been better and he's awful too

The two tries weren't set up by bad decisions. Farrell had his chance to add points, but fluffed them.

You may call it injustice, but I just call it being outplayed. I genuinely don't mean that in a snobbish way but I'm agreeing with what Lancaster said.

Yeh they were outplayed, Wales played really well as expected. I just don't think the margin was justified.. Wales deserved to win the match itself :)
