I'm thinking that tomorrow the Lions could put 50 past the Barbarians. Can't wait! :D

I haven't really followed this tour in the past but I definitely will this year! The squad this year is fantastic! Particularly excited to see O'Driscoll as it will be his last year as he has resigned from the Leinster and the Ireland squad! It's good to see Sexton on it too, I think it's his first year on the squad and I think he really deserves a place, he has come such a long way since joining Ireland in sine 2010 ( I think that was the year, forgive me if I'm wrong).

If you're looking for this to be an update thread, I don't mind edited the scores onto your table as the tour goes on if you like?

Can't wait either!
I think too that we will put a good 30 points on the Babarians, should be a good game though

First half was awful I thought, too many mistakes. Farrell has no game.

Both Phillips and Murray impressed me today. Oh and of course Jamie Roberts

Rocokoko bless him, he still got it - somewhat :P

They were worried he was badly injured and I think it's ligament damage.

I found it quite interesting to watch; Heaslip is a monster of a player.

I know, I'm so hoping that he doesn't get injured. That's the problem with the tour, they play too often and a lot of them get injured - so when we actually face Austrailia we won't be at our max strength.

Good to see the Lions doing reasonably well, shame they didn't win the 2nd test vs Australia they definitely deserved it. If they don't win the series it's going to be a real shame, Gatland and his team > Deans and Aus.

Lions team for the 3rd test named: no BOD!!!

Backs: Halfpenny, Bowe, Davies, Roberts, North, Sexton, Philips
Forwards: Corbiesero, Hibbard, Jones, Alun Wyn, Parling, Lydiate, O'brien, Faletau
Bench: Youngs, Vuniploa, Cole, Tipuric, Murray, Farrell, Tuilagi

Thoughts?

I've been checking the Reddit forums. God there's a lot of anti-Welsh sentiment.

Zak
04-07-2013, 11:17 AM
To be honest Brian has been giving away penalties because he's not supporting himself at the breakdown. I still think Manu and BOD are a good pairing.

I don't mind that majority of the players are Welsh, it's just the Welsh haven't beat Austrailia in so long. Tbh I'm starting to think this years Lions test is fixed.

That was fantastic! It was hard to decide who to support considering both teams have kiwi coaches but I am so happy the lions won and happy for Gatland!
Robbie Deans will probably be sacked but if he wasn't sacked now he would have been when the wallabies get smashed in the rugby championship.
If the wallabies can't beat the Lions how will they beat South Africa or the All Blacks? Based on that performance they may even struggle against Argentina.

This. That was an amazing game from the Lions absolutely smashed Australia which is good to see ;)

So proud that they stepped up in the final game and performed just so well, can't really describe how happy I am. Both teams have Kiwi coaches but put it this way, who would you rather have as a Coach/Assistant for the NZ rugby team as thats what they are both aiming for - can't wait to see Gatland continue his amazing record.

I read something before about that this series doesn't influence Deans' position and he is resigned until the end of the year or next year or something which I find hard to believe. Australia are definitely going downhill, who knows might even drop places in the IRB rankings if their terrible performances continue.

Anyways, SO HAPPY FOR THE LIONS <3 Party hard, all supporters deserve it!
