My alarm clock (yes, you read that right, I still use an alarm clock!) never manages to fully wake me up. Once it goes off I will hit the 'snooze' button, turn around and go back to sleep. I used to own an alarm clock which would throw a ball into the room as soon as it went off. In order to turn the alarm off I had to get up to look for the ball and place it back in the net. This always woke me up because I could never go back to sleep after walking around my room searching for it. It would annoy me in the mornings but I thought the idea was really clever!

For this competition I'd like you to think of another way that an alarm clock could be adjusted in order to fully wake me up in the mornings.

The most interesting idea will win!

An alarm clock which when it goes off not only does it make the police sound, it makes the room toxic with some vile smelling gas, so you are forced to get out of bed and run out your room. But it has a door sensor on it, so when you go out, the sound stops and the smell goes.

An alarm clock where you have to take a shower in order for it to stop ringing. Now you're wondering, how does it know if you took the shower or not? there will be a mat inside the shower-area, you'll have to be standing in it and the mat will then have to get wet for it to stop ringing.
