Is post count enabled on threads like the "What was the last thing you ate" or "What are you listening to right now"?

If so, why? They add nothing to the forum and it is normally the same people posting in there for, in effect, post count.

If its disabled ima look stupid :o

Yes, by posting interesting topics and posts that contribute to the forum :)

You can't turn off post count in specific threads and we've been through the whole having it's own forum without post count enabled not that long ago.

Oh god don't get everyone started on this again :P We previously removed post count from those threads, but it didn't make any difference so we changed it back.

Yes they increase in all those threads, we used to have a forum called 'Assorted/Misc' and although it didn't decrease how many were posting in them much it was removed as it wasn't really needed. There have been a few feedback threads on this where many gave their opinion, it even included polls, but people thought they were a little biased with the options that were available on them.

A quick search in the Habbox Feedback forum will find you more answers. Like it has been said before we can't stop post count on specific threads only forums, hence why they were made.

You may post in these to up your post count if you wish, but since the forum was removed a crack down on the rules has been more known as if you abuse the threads e.g. posting in them every time someone else has posted then it'll probably be noticed and you'll receive PMs, warnings etc.

Well, it did funnily enough reduce the amount of posts people made in those threads :L Not saying that less activity in that form is necessarily good, but you get my point :P

Goodness, I hope we're not going to start this again.

People complain because others abuse these threads by posting in them constantly > Management ask us if we want these threads in a separate subforum where post counts would not be enabled > There is no "deciding" vote, there is a pretty equal vote of both 'yes' and 'no' > Management decide to put this subforum idea on a trial period > Everyone hates it > Things go back to the way they were.

Ok please I just spelled it out for everyone. Please don't make us go through all that again.

Not this again. Post count stands for nothing in today's money, and any activity should be encouraged, not discouraged. It's amazing how tedious some people are :/
