Whenever I buy a magazine I tend to read the stories and attempt to do the puzzles in them, but I'm rarely able to finish them. However, I remember this old competition I used to do each week whereby there would be a word, then a gap for another word then another word, you would then have to think of the word that goes with them both. For example, you could have 'washing then 'gun' the answer would be 'machine' as you have a washing machine and a machine gun - seems fun? I wanted to bring that competition back, therefore there are five sets of words below and it's your job to tell me what each word is that goes with them both.
