Nutrition/ dietetics

So I'm going into nutrition and dietetics next year. Has anyone done this course? It involves a lot of chemistry and chemistry is not my strong point.

A friend of mine does a course like that, and she said that students that didn't learn Chemistry in high school had to learn it pretty fast during the first year of the course.
But I heard about other aspects that she didn't like which had something to do with theoretical stuff like why people choose certain foods..
