'I do not like them in a house.
I do not like them with a mouse.
I do not like them here or there.
I do not like them anywhere.
I do not like green eggs and ham.
I do not like them, Sam-I-Am.
If anyone is confused by the title of this competition and the quote from the poem up there then I will clear things up before anyone thinks I've lost the plot. Green Eggs and Ham is a poem written by Dr Seuss (an American writer, poet and cartoonist who is mostly known for his Children's books -- The Cat in The Hat and How The Grinch Stole Christmas, anyone?) and if you've read it then you'll know how bizarre the words are, if you've not read it then click here (http://www.lyricsfreak.com/d/dr+seuss/green+eggs+and+ham_20208487.html).
For this competition I'd like you to write a short poem about anything, but it needs to be written in the style of Dr Seuss. If you've not read his poems then click here (https://www.earlymoments.com/dr-seuss/Favorite-Dr-Seuss-Quotes/) to check some of them out.
May the best entry win!
Prize: 10 credits + 15 rep
