I've done part (i) a) but I'm going SLIGHTLY wrong somewhere on part (b)...

The second equation which I'm getting is 2.7 + 0.8R = 0.6F... when I should be getting 2.7 + 0.6F = 0.8R :(

I'll put my working in the spoiler:

F=(mv2)/r so F=2.7

resolving horizontally I have F (above F, not friction :P) moving inwards, along with the resolved 'R'. Going right is the resolved friction.

I never did M2 and all my Uni modules have avoided more complicated mechanics than M1 :P So I haven't a clue :P

There's various branches of maths, and mechanics is frankly one of my weakest points :P
