Wow NHL Player Health and Safety Board has suspended Brandon Prust 2 games for his hit to the head on Derek Stepan. No penalty was called on the play!
After Stepan played the puck in his own zone, Prust skated across the ice and hit Stepan high. Stepan remained down for several seconds before being escorted by a trainer to the dressing room. He returned to the game later in the first period, but Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault announced Friday that Stepan suffered a broken jaw and said there was no timetable for his return.
