I've had many a debate over the years about colours ("No it's green??", "No that's aqua wtf is wrong with you?") and have certainly encountered a few quirks with them; for example, did you know the colour of a mirror is actually a tiny amount of green (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yrZpTHBEss)! However, I've found that the strangest thing about them is some of the names that have been attributed to certain colours - "Duck Egg" is my top favourite, but "Caput Mortuum" certainly comes close. Why not do a quick google if you want to find out the meaning behind caput mortuum?!
Believe me the list of odd colours is not endless, I've even come across 'razzamatazz'. So for this competition I'd like for you to find me the weirdest named colour in existence!
Prize: 5 Credits & 15 Rep
