Thought it would be interesting to see what percentage of people here work whilst also in education, as well as the other three options. Check whichever applies to you starting from September.

I've recently quit my job as it was too far away from where I live to make it worth while so I'm just in Education at the moment, although I am also looking for work.

Bugger I forgot to read the first post beforehand. I currently have a job but that'll end when I go to uni in Sept. However my student loan doesn't even cover my accommodation cost so it looks as if I'll need to get some kind of job.

I know others in your position, it seems unfair as I don't think student finance takes into account that your parents can't always give you money. I'll get the max amount as I'm on the lowest income but it doesn't seem fair that people are kind of punished in an aspect because of their household income being higher, thus their student loan doesn't even cover rent.

I finished my education (graduated university) in May, so for now I am just working. I do plan on attending veterinary school in the future, but for now, I'm looking for full time employment in the biology field while also working as a Personal Trainer and Tennis Coach on the side :)

What course are you doing? I'm doing an Access Course rather than A-Levels as I didn't want to have to wait another 2 years before Uni.

I'm also doing an Access to HE course! :P

Doing the Social Science and Humanities option which consists of Psychology, Sociology, Literature, and Study Skills/Tutorial on the Monday (which is a half day) :P

I like how there's a mixture of ages etc within the group too! Makes me feel less old! :P
