How many hours do you work a week?

I'm contracted 15 but always do at least 25 to 30.

37.5 at my main job, then my freelance stuff can vary wildly.

Sometimes I do almost nothing (last week I only did 2 hours) and some weeks I've been known to do 24 - my absolute max that is! Generally I try to aim for about 40-45 - but sometimes I'm doing multiple jobs at the same time so real time it's probably around 40ish.

Most of the time it is 40 hours, last couple of months it has been 48 hours but back to normal again now. In my last job it was about 50 hours a week with busy periods being anywhere up to 130 hours a week which yes, gave me no life for a while haha. The longest day last year was 21 hours, followed by 2 hours sleep and then back to work to do it all over again!

37.5 hours per week.

I do a few odd bits here and there at home freelance, but it's not a huge amount and most weeks it's nothing. :P

39.5 officially, I've mostly been working 12 hour days so far though.

I don't have a set amount of hours to work a week, but I get to work for 7.30 and leave at 4.30 so that's 45 hours a week minimum. Will be more depending if I need to stay later.

In reality though I usually end up doing an hour or two of work each evening at home, so 50/55 is more accurate.

I was working 55+ per week, but I just quit my second job, so now I'm only working 36.25 per week, and it's glorious.

I'm contracted to do 16 hours per week, but it's very rare that I ever do that. This week I did 38.5 lmao.

I work at Home Bargains - they don't offer full time work (it's between a 4-20 hour contract) unless you're Supervisor+ then you get paid for 44 hours and that's it, even if you work more/less lmao.

This work as it's stocktake, I get the lovely job of being the 9am starting person on Sunday, so I will be doing 9am-10pm minimum just on that day.

That seems rather silly. D: I don't understand why they don't just have full-time and part-time contracts - it's a lot more stable and at least you know you have the work, rather than working a lot one week and not the other etc.

It's similar to where I work. They do offer full time contracts but most people are on 20 hours, meaning everybody had to make up the hours elsewhere. They have such a high turnover in staff and I'm pretty sure that's why as people feel pretty dispensable.

It seems completely ridiculous - you don't offer the contract hours so staff find second jobs elsewhere, then when you need to staff to do extra hours there's always a chance of being understaffed as they'll be busy in their second jobs.
