UEFA European Championship increased the size of the tournament starting this year. It is set to start on the 10th of June, who are your favourites to win the tournament, and who are you supporting?

For me, I'm supporting England obviously, but I think either France or Germany will win it this year, France Germany Italy and Belgium will get into the final 4 I think.

wales has a decent squad this year but I don't think they'll make it out their group simply because i reckon it'll be england and russia through, but they might make it out on top 3 third place teams. not sure on the overall winner, i think England will shock this year because we seem to have a wave of new talent and they're finally playing as a team again - hodgson just has to realise the new potential and we've got so much of a new chance, but no we won't win and if we do i'll eat a sock

He's literally just the fast kid down the park who can run but hasn't got a clue when it comes to passing or shooting. Even Walker was looking more useful tonight

I was very impressed with the performance in the first half by all involved, but the second half performance was good ol' England.

I have a few key issues with today performance though.

While Rooney made some brilliant passes, at points he looked very poor on the ball.
Harry Kane taking corners. What?
We were poor in the second half, the worst mistake we made was try and protect the lead.
I would also like to add that the scenes after and prior to the game were horrendous. It is not entirely clear as to what happened outside the stadium as there is mixed reports about Local and Russian Ultras getting involved with the English, Northern Irish and Polish fans. Every footballing team has a bunch of fans, usually a relatively small minority that drink too much and just look for trouble however the events that took side INSIDE the stadium were appalling and hopefully the ongoing UEFA investigation leads to some punishment, wherever it may be necessary.

How utterly mental were today's games omf I have totally given up predicting who will win anything in football, some good news for a few of the traditionally weaker teams though because look at the quarter final outcomes -

1. Switzerland/Poland vs Croatia/Portugal
2. Wales/Northern Ireland vs Hungary/Belgium

3. Germany/Slovakia vs Italy/Spain
4. France/Republic of Ireland vs England/Iceland

Germany, Italy, Spain, and France all in the same seed on the path to the final so someone from the first 8 has to be there at the end

Brilliant game, neither team gave up which is the difference between England and... well, everyone else. Even at 91 minutes and 3-1 down Belgium didn't look defeated on their faces, superb effort from everyone

France v Iceland wasn't boring it was one of the best games in the comp but otherwise yeah they didn't quite live up to the expectations of what should have been an unbeatable team

Final was prob the worst final game of any competition since Spain v Holland in 2010 but in general it's been a good tournament
