What's new?
We now support Imgur .GIFV images being embedded into posts and threads on the forum. Imgur uses a file extension called .gifv to allow faster loading of animated images but before today you could only post links to them on this forum. But now you can actually embed them into posts as shown in the example below.
Example:

How to use it?
Look at the URL provided by imgur: http://i.imgur.com/CJUJWEi.gifv
Take the filename after the last / and before the .gifv extension. You are then left with: CJUJWEi
If you have the following URL: http://imgur.com/gallery/2gNqzcd then you just need the code after the last / - So it will be: 2gNqzcd
Then do:
CJUJWEi
That will embed the image into your post/thread. We will most likely add a button for this to the post editor toolbar at a later date.
