Vietnam is a former French colony located in Indochina. Saigon also known as Ho Chi Minh City.

anyone ever been? we picked it cos of cheapness and we wanted somewhere a bit more tinpot-esque than somewhere like Thailand. I've never been further east than Turkey so this should be funnnnnn.

hahaha xx i can't wait!! Orlando Florida in february then Saigon in march. thinking about Rio in Brazil maybe in autumn too. i still wanna desp go India but my mate go with is ethnically Indian so he's been loads for family so can't sorta force India on him

aye it's 5* too. rated #4 on trip advisor of all Saigon hotels

go see the temples and colonial buildings in Saigon too. Mekong Delta looks good too they do tours

Been to Vietnam once, did a fair bit of cycling over there. Agree with the cheapness of Vietnam, I find Vietnam not to be as touristy as Thailand, in a good way.
