If your employer gave you the option to work 10 hr days Mon-Thurs instead of 8 hr days Mon-Fri would you do it? Why/why not?

not in my current job, nope. If I wasn't studying I might consider it.

I worked 11.5 hours last Wednesday and had work the next day at 8am.

No. I recently quit my 40 h/pw Monday to Friday job. I don't think it's worth giving that much of your time away every week if you can avoid it.

I don't think I would. I've done a few 40 hour weeks at my current workplace and by the end of it, I was dead. Working that many hours in retail is torture and anyone who manages it is better than me.

Yes, but I enjoy my work.

But 3 day weekend would be nice too, so best of both worlds.

i'm under 18 so most i can work per day is 8 hours! sucks so much as i'd happily do more (just a weekend job) - but it'd depend on my job to consider doing 12 hour days for my entire life

I would but that doesn't work in hospitality :P
I saw this discussion on reddit the other day! :)

I would as I'd love to have Friday off although I doubt my work would be any good if I did as my minds normally dead by the 7th hour so probably wouldn't be great productivity wise

For me it depends on the time of year. In winter, i'd happily do 10-12 hour days, go hard and fast because its not too cold or hot where I am atm. So then in the summer I could work the bare minimum, 8 or 9 hour days.
