An elegant mermaid sat upon a rock, splashing her tail in the water and soaking up the last of the evening's sun. As she looked over to the land, a young man caught her eye. He was sitting on a bench across the road. At this moment the mermaid realised she must get closer to this man, only that's a little hard when you have a fish tail for legs!!

I feel like this is very similar to The Little Mermaid, but let's continue..


So for this competition I want you to tell me how the mermaid can get the attention of her new crush.

The mermaid would pretend to be drowning, thus making a racket and presenting the illusion of needing saving. The man would hopefully them come and rescue her meaning that should wouldn't need legs in order to talk to him.

She casually attempted, but then realized "how would the sex even work? I have no where to put his..." so she gave up and went to find an other mermaid.

After soaking up the evening sun {There is an evening sun?} the mermaid shed one of her shinning scale from her tail and writes a love letter in calligraphy on it in ink. {Octopus ink}
She put the scale it inside a medium size purple clam that has a pearl inside along with some golden treasure coins worth a fortune. She cuts some of her hair strands and ties the clam to one of her sea friends ,The Seagull, leg and tell it to fly to the young man over by the road who is sitting on the bench.

The mermaid kept flickering her eye lashes to try and get her crushes attention so she used her shell horn and instruments and her crush listened and saw her smiling and she sang him a lovely song :)
