I just watched a movie based on Simone Biles yesterday. It was pretty inspiring and an eye opener for me tbh. I always thought my career-to-be (a doctor) is one of the few who needs a lot of sacrifices. That's up until yesterday when I see how she struggles on choosing between doing her very best in gymnastic or fulfilling her want to live a life as a high schooler. She's forced to choose between two paths which she loves both. Forced to choose one out of two.
That's quite sad. But I guess that is life. You just can't have it all.
