Encyclopedia and Dictionary

Both Wikipedia and www.dictionary.co.uk say that Lol stands for laughing out loud. However my friend says it's laugh.

Frankly, you can't argue with Wikipedia or the Dictionary can you?

most ppl use it for laugh out loud but some use if for lots of love?

The majority of internet users use lol as a way of laughing, so lol means laugh out loud...

Is pmsl "pulling my sides laughing" or "p'ssing my self laughing"? I know it's basically the same as it's a laugh thing but never knew what it actually was.

it doesnt realy make much diffence, lol is usealy used as nartation hence "laughing" makes more sence than laugh out loud, unless you insted commanding your contact to laugh? So the wikipeida is correct.,
