The Habbox Lottery returns to Habbox this month. There have been a few changes so keep reading to find out what they are.
Main Lottery Draw - 1c a ticket
For 1c, you can buy a lottery ticket for the main lottery draw. How it works is simple. Your lottery ticket consists of 3 numbers of your choice (see the list below to find out what is taken). When the lottery is drawn (for more information, see the date and time below), if you match all 3 numbers, you win 100c. If there are no winners, the dice are rolled again until a winner is selected.
For this draw, there is a limit of 20 tickets maximum.
Dream Number - 1c a ticket
On top of the main Lottery draw, there is also another lottery draw: Dream Number. There are 4 dices and to win the jackpot, your ticket needs to match the number on the dices exactly. However, there's a difference with this draw: the prize is not fixed. It starts at 50c and then if it isn't won, another 50c is added for next month's draw.This allows the room for 'rollovers.' When there is no winner, all of the tickets are taken to the next draw where you have another chance at winning a bigger prize*.
In this draw, there is no limit. You can buy as many tickets as you like. Also worth noting is that this jackpot can be shared as no number is assigned to just one person. If two people wanted 2341 and the jackpot was 500c, they would both win 250c. There are no prizes for anyone with 2 or 3 numbers.
*The jackpot maximum for this draw is 1000c. If it reaches that number, the dices are rolled until a winner is found. This is so anyone wanting to buy all possible outcomes would make a loss.
"Who can I buy tickets from?"
You can buy tickets from any member of General Management or(Assistant) Managers. They are as follows:
If you would like a ticket, contact any of those people on Habbo and buy one from them. If you can't find them, PM any one of them on the forum and the transaction can be made.
When is the lottery drawn?
Both draws are drawn on the same date. At the moment, the Habbox Lottery will be a monthly draw but this may change in the future depending on demand.
The draw for this month is arranged for Saturday 25th January 2014 at 8pm. You can find the lottery room by searching Samanfa.
