Weird Fashion Trends??

I wouldn't say I'm fashionable at all, or down with the latest trends on the runway but some fashion trends really confuse me. Who would wear such a thing, and more importantly who would spend thousands to wear such a thing??

I don't know if you saw recently the deal with Balenciaga's 7 layer coat but seriously look at it:
