Im going to colour code the rubstrips. Not sure about the GTI bumper though because it may interfere with my insurance?
Plus itd cost quite abit to get it fitted...

fit it yourself mate.. it's really easy.. but you'll be lucky finding a mk5 gti in shadow blue! phone your insurance company and ask about the gti bumper, say that it's a genuine vw part and not some crappy fiberglass replica.
Surely only things that increase the performance of a vehicle affect insurance premiums like a sports air intake or a turbo kit, rather than something cosmetic like a bumper?

also if you can afford to declare new wheels, the bumper won't affect it much. it's oem vw, looks alot better and it's a lot harder to steal than a set of wheels.
