School wrong about 'satanic' T-shirt

A student who was sent home from a United States school for wearing a "satanic" T-shirt should have been allowed to stay in class, an education department official has ruled.

When Robert Parker turned up for lessons at Westerly High School in Westerly, Rhode Island, wearing a rock band T-shirt bearing the numerals 666, school officials sent him home.
They said the T-shirt, relating to the now defunct band White Zombie, posed a threat to school order, and told him never to wear it to school again. This was because the numerals 666 are believed by some to refer to the devil.

its not 666 though the correct symbol is 555 in a triangle shape, the 666 has just been brought into things through films. the realy satanic thing is 555 which is like a schwastiger (sp) (the nazi flag) as it is 3 5's rotated in a triangular shape

Refer to the devil, lol! This reminds me of when someone posted about gods being summond to a court the other week. Some people really do make me laugh.

I once went into church with 666 on my forehead and got chucked out. This girl at my school nearly got suspended for having "Abortion is murder" on her top.

lol this reminds me when my cousin came to my church wearing a shirt with 'join us' written on the front. The 'elders' were questioning what it meant.

The swastika isn't just a Nazi symbol, they only adopted it and by the way, you can't make a swastika out of 3 5s, only 4 or 2 ;).
