Qatar is going to be turned into an island country
Neighbouring Saudi Arabia is going to dig a huge canal to cut the country off in bitter feud
Yes, this is actually happening. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which shares a border with the State of Qatar, is going to basically dig a massive canal and turn Qatar into an island country - because it is majorly pissed off at Qatar.
Qatar is a peninsula that borders only one country: Saudi Arabia. Now, due to a bitter political feud, Saudi Arabia plans to build a canal across its border with Qatar, effectively turning it into an island. Is this kinda thing legal under international law? pic.twitter.com/jziWBdLnvl
