Outage - What happened...

At 16:30 GMT we noticed a large Distributed Denial of Service attack being performed against the forum. Our automated DDoS Scrubber did not detect this attack as malicious activity and as a result was permitting 5,700 connections from various locations access to the forum.

We responded by manually failing over to our DDoS scrubber and enabling reverse proxies to the forum. If you find that some of the other members are struggling with accessing our sites please direct them to our help desk on habbo.com or to a member of staff.
