Who's excited for the Olympics and what's your favourite event?

I know I certainly am and my favourite event is Diving because I like to watch all the tricks lol and also it takes a lot of skill just like all the other events to do things like that :)

I was very confused at first as the Winter Olympics are on right now and was confused where the diving was...

Yes I love the Summer Olympics - my favourite event is definitely the 100m sprint as that's my old sport but also Beach Volleyball as it's so tense. Winter Olympics I love the Ski Jumping!

I love the Olympics. It's pretty much the only televised sporting event I ever watch. I'm not very patriotic, but I love rooting for Team GB. My favourite sport in the summer games is table tennis, but I tend to watch most of them. I was into the swimming events in 2008 when Michael Phelps became God, and badminton was great that year too. Taekwondo was good in 2016. Really heartbreaking when Lutalo Muhammad lost the gold at the very last second, though. Watching it live was mental... Lutalo was ahead right from the beginning up until the very last second. His interview afterwards was devestating. The track events were really great that year, too. I've been really enjoying the speed skating during the winter games this year. There's a lot of drama. When the games were at Sochi in 2014, I watched a lot of figure skating. Really pleased I got to watch Mao Asada live on TV — she gave one of her best ever performances before her retirement.

The Summer Olympics yes. I like the athletics and the triathlon.

The winter Olympics is a great spectacle it self which , unfortunately, is not too much broadcasted or noticed here - except on paid sport channels - because our concept of Winter is pretty much other than snow flakes and skiable ice tracks. Still, the Figure Skating and even the Curling are some of my favorite games, although few I know about the players and where they did come from
