Life without tv
I wonder if you can live without a tv? Since most of people in my country are used to have tv and since we have laptops too, I find it such a waste. We pay for tv subscriptions every month and the extra electricity there? Well, I think lap top can do the job good enough.
Anyway, speaking for myself, I truly believe that I can live without a tv (just because I've done that for the last 6 years). How about you?

I own a TV that I turn on once a week for about an hour or so.
Everything else I watch on either my PC or my tablet, mostly my tablet.
Only reason I watch my TV for about an hour a week is on a Saturday night (when I'm not going out) and I'm eating food as it's easier to sit on the sofa and eat than at my PC lol, as soon as I#m finished eating, I normally turn it off and go back to whatever I was doing before.. Sometimes I'll continue with whatever mindless TV programme I put on, but I don't have a TV license, as I don't watch live TV, only really Netflix, NowTV and Amazon Video

You use your tv just as bigger screen? Yeah, I guess, that would be the same reason I would buy a tv. But I kinda like the idea of getting a screen projector instead XP

It is possible but also not surprisingly groundbreaking! Most of the times, you and I only have a television at our IRL, Habbo and The Sims homes because of what this FRIENDS' quote suggests, that its awk not to have a tube at home since it appears to be the piece of furniture that all the other objects are technically meant to be aimed at, if you know what I mean?? :-P
Before 1995 it was awfully common to take notes of moments 90% of Brazil inhabitants were staying tuned at the same time to watch some climax phase from a soap; OTOH, statements of the kind "I don't watch TV anymore" are the common thing these days because of the massive #s of alternative means of watching things - mainly the on-demand ones - which isn't a big deal in the slightest since, if people can't control what they're seeing on television, almost everyone from the average dimension is also always watching the very same things and playing the same videogames on their PCs because, as it seems, the internet also is achieving the long-known TV's power of deciding what most of us is doing!!

I very rarely watch television... I have one in my bedroom that gets used once a year maybe when I decide to actually turn on my ps4.

It's rare I watch TV, I usually only watch Coronation Street (which we record anyway, so it's rare I ever watch it when it's actually on) and Bargain Hunt.
