    Default Adoption?

What are your thoughts on gay couples adopting?
    Good, bad idea?

Personally, i'm still hazey about it.
Good - Helps kids from being brought up in an orphanage
    - Makes the couple feel closer together
    - Learns the children from a very early age about gay people

Bad - Kids may get bullied in school
    - People will always judge the parents
    - Kid's are 'supposed' to be brought up by a mum and a dad because it gives them different sides to their personality.

idk really, i love kids, i want three of own when im older
. If i do end up being with a bloke though, i would have to think long and hard before i adopt.

I personally don't see anything wrong with it but I do think that at the moment people judge and bullying would happen. That's just how things are and hopefully it will change in the future. So thinking about that it wouldn't be fair on a child.

The child would probably end up really confused about it and end up asking there friends why they don't have a dad/mum. I always asked my friends stuff about things like that and it would be horriable to be diffrent.

I dont think its wrong, I just dont think its the best move for children.

I think children might get alot of hassle about it tbh. Like at school, in the playground people shouting abuse or something, i wouldn't want that for any child.
But adoption should be fine for male-female, male-male, female-female relationships.. You just have to think about the children first.
Also i watched a programe about this and then they were like, oh i expect he's going to turn out gay because we are gay.. that's ridiculous, you are who you are, not because you have gay parents.

it's the whole nature vs. nurture arguement that people have, however it was prooven about 2 months ago that we're actually born with our sexuality, we have 2 lobes in our brains, left one is bigger if you like men, right one is bigger if you like women. And they are the same size roughly if you are bisexual.
It was on some news, i cant remeber now though, but was intresting to find that it is actually nature.

My only concern is the emotional development on an infant/young child. Any child who is being adopted a bit later, and can say "I don't care", more power to them.
