There are several police boats searching the Thames - people on the bridge who were with other people are now unable to find them

V scary I was walked across this bridge just 2 days ago

So looks like the terror threat level has proven to be as useless as always and our ridiculous Police carrying military-style machine guns for a false sense of security (it's not like you can actually use it) have been thwarted yet again by a radical muslim(?) in a van/with knife.

Like I said, rinse and repeat. Within 24 hours the balloons and teddies will come out and we'll be denying it's anything to do with Islam.

*waits to be told I should wait for more details, i'm insensitive jumping to conclusions etc only to be told when we do have the details that I shouldn't blame radical Islam*

It'd be nice to think nobody has been killed or seriously injured but doubtful. It's time to be angry.

Massive variation in reports, some saying 5 people hit others 20+, a few about a stabbing and The Sun claiming there were gunshots

Horrible in any case, utterly disgusting

Borough Market is quite close to London Bridge - perhaps attacker(s) got away and carried on there

Absolutely disgusting, thoughts are with those affected.

don't forget that terror attacks are part and parcel of living in a major city though :rolleyes:
