Nobody seems to be covering the Local Elections as a whole which is weird, anywho results have been coming through slowly (I can only find the totals for England) and its been big gains for the Conservatives and Ukip. The BBC so far has the following results, not sure if all are counted yet.


And in an ironic twist, Ukip have gained control of their first ever council...... in Thanet.
