    Cos - it gets annoying when you get random people coming in and posting things that have no relevance to the thread and conflict with the thread posters' "mini rules".

    Yea i agree it is annoying, many of those people only do it for the extra post when some might try to prove that they are good enough to be a forum mod ;]
    Uk has a literacy rate of 99%, Why must that 1% of people play Habbo?
    What happened to your educational system?
    Do you value educational at all?

    I think you can ask other members to only reply in a certain way, but I don't think they have to do what you want.

    You can put your rules down and hope the user is sensible enough to follow them. I am sure they would want others to follow their rules (if they were reasonable), if they made a thread with a few small rules.
