It will be easy to get a contract for £30/£35 and then i'm not sure what the phone will cost but if you haggle then you may get the price down to what you are willing to pay

I have left for now but may return in the future!
I pay £30 a month on 3 for mine, cost me £99 to buy the phone, 5000 texts 600 mins i think, 3000 3 to 3 mins and a 1gb of internet.
Wouldn't go with 3, it's the worst network ever. Signal is really bad had my contract 2 months and ended it :| Would stick with o2 or maybe orange.
Outside the Shankly Gates
I heard a Kopite calling
Shankly, they have taken you away
But you left the great eleven
Just before you went to heaven
The Redmen are still playing the same way.
You'll Never Walk Alone.
My friend works at o2 and says avoid 3 and orange as there signals are messing up a lot lately & to go with either o2 or Vodafone... but then again i suppose its which company gives you the best offer.

Yeah, i got £5 off for 6 months or something for going into the shop.
The signals fine where i am, never had any problems, had more trouble with o2 on my old iphone.
They're shouldn't be a problem with 3, they own all the phone masts in the uk, and rent them out basically to all the other phone companies.
you can't haggle on an iphone. you can only get a cheaper deal direct from networks for a reconditioned handset (handset that didn't work, was returned or a handset that was taken but was exchanged as they didn't like/want it).
Also, Camy three don't own all the masts in the UK. the reason their signal is quite bad for a lot of people in most areas is they own barely any, have to rent most of the space. Also they rely only on a 3G signal, so you can't move down to edge, gprs or gsm.
KISS MY ARSE MATT GARNER.
better?
What on earth are you lot on about.
O2's network is (relatively) crap.
T-Mobile/Orange have the biggest network in the UK and have been running fine with Vodafone coming in second.
3 (who don't own most of their cell sites) and Virgin run off T-Mobile's network.
In terms of customer service and support, they all suck just as bad as each other.
