    Default Looking for a first(ish) car +REP

I'll be (hopefully ) passing my test soon and I'm looking for a car!

    Currently I've got a mercedes A-class from early 2004:
    this sorta thing

And I just don't like it haha. Possibly because it looks more like a triangle than a car but w/e (A)

So I'm looking for something thats a decent first(ish ) car that's reliable and isn't too expensive (looking at <£2500 probably although obviously cheaper is better). Also it needs to look nice (A)

I'm no car expert so any ideas/recommendations you car lovers out there?

EDIT: My driving instructor's car is a new vauxhall corsa and I like how it drives (don't laugh if its rubbish ok I don't know any better) if that sways your decision.

Hmm yeah, I do quite like it so far (much prefer it to the Mercedes anyway)
