    Default The Ashes

There isn't a thread on this yet?

Anybody watching The Ashes? Or has anybody been keeping up with the scores?

Australia seem to be batting out the 2nd day of the Adelaide test, probably will end in a draw if England start batting on day 3.. 3 days to score 500+ runs in the first innings, then whatever Aus. scores and THEN a potential second innings? Sounds difficult.

England are 7/122 just after lunch on day 3. Mitchy J is dominating the bowling.

    No other watchers here?

Well that was a boring 5th day. Lasted between 45-75 minutes! Ah well, an easy win anyway.

Well I guess its a different story who posts here when the English are winners.

Aussies have returned the urn back home with a 3-0 win. Only 2 tests left, Melbourne and Sydney.

    Bring on Boxing Day!

I personally haven't followed this series, it's not the same when you have to stay up ridiculous hours midweek to catch it live. GG Australia, let's hope nobody fell down one of the cracks on the pitch though.

P.S. The urn stays in England

Hmm, that's a bit of an overstatement, in the first 3 days of the Boxing Day test over 200,000 people turned up. On the first day over 91,092 people, setting a test match record.

Best thing about the Aussie summer? The cricket isn't washed out. Anyway 5 zip victory to us (hopefully by the end of the day).
