First official portrait following the Coronation of His Majesty is unveiled sparking debate

Ooooh I quite like it and I am not usually a huge fan of modern takes on art.

I'm refurbing my bedroom at home in the summer and I think I will have this framed on the wall taking centre stage.

Okay, that tweet got me into reverse-searching the painting [don't ask me why] and I found a copy with even higher quality. Whee. Maybe that's the one you'll want to frame :

It's a good painting. I'm glad that public figures reminded themselves that there are other artists in the world to commission top-notch portraits to other than Romero Britto. No offense to the dude.

The official portrait of the Coronation will take a while to come out... I think the late Queen Elizabeth's took around 3 years to complete.
