have you actually had a full time job???? it's not a holiday thing it's a literal stress from working non stop thing.

The stretch working from September to Christmas is fricking awful, there's literally no respite. bank holidays for long weekends for simply a break would be great

I liked working full time yeah.

I'd work over Christmas and New Year too. All my holidays in summer please!

Clearly you had a very easy job then cos I've never met anyone who enjoys working in those shitty months of the year with no break

A job people walked out of weekly because of stress/abuse.

I like working so doesn't bother me. Yeah breaks are nice, but point is they're better when you can actually use them instead of sitting in bed while the wind and rain howl outside your window and it goes dark at half 3. Most would opt for days off in the spring/summer which is thankfully where the bank holidays are placed.

It's like taking holidays. If I were working full time I would take my holiday abroad in November (the worst month) if where I was going was hot enough. No point taking time away from back home when the weather is nice, leave when it's horrible+depressing.

Nah, holiday is for a break from work not for actual holiday. I wanna spend at least 50% of my holiday just doing nothing at home - or doing boring chores like waiting for delivery/supervising workmen!

Oh, I must just be weird.

I'm capable of leaving the house when it's raining.

Tbf I understand a bit cos like if you wanna do something on a day off you kinda want it nice

but also who wants to do something on every day off I would literally die without a break
