We've been doing Much Ado About Nothing for our Year 10 GCSE coursework.
PEE/PEA is going to be used in much more topics in English and also in other subjects, you don't learn it solely for Shakespeare.
i did romeo and juliet for gcse coursework in english, got high A and enjoyed studying it
did macbeth in year 9 sats, and understood it all i never got my mark on that paper though.
and i got A* on an inspector calls coursework
"I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.'"
Muhammad Ali
Was easy.
It was something like 'What language does beatrice use to show her attitude towards the men in the extracts?'
We didn't do PEE
WE did PEEL
Point, Evidence, Explain, Link.
Lol we did Much Ado. I wrote 4 pages and it was a LOT easier than I thought.
We use PQE - Point, quotation, explanation.
i done that when i was in year 9 too =]
i liked it tbh but i stressed over time cos my teacher forgot how to LEARN TO WRITE! i was like "miss cant read your witing"
"miss what does this say?" "miss can you translate?"
"MISS I AINT DOING IT COS YOUR A CRAP WRITER!"
and then i had to copy someone elses work
and my teacher started asking my friends if i had personal problems
i was like YOUR MY PROBLEM
well i didnt say that, i just told her i dont appriciate people going behind my back when they can ask the same questions to face
