I think for school pupils yes, it can be daunting enough being so young and having to face something like that. So yes I can see finds doing this to try and ease their awkwardness or bullies getting to then as much at school. Apart from that I don't really get why you would but each case is different.

Within reason I'd go bold to help/support yes. Though I'd want to keep a bit of hair or if not wear a scarf over my head instead. Whatever you choose is supporting them I feel and think.

I reckon if one of my friends became ill and as a result had to become bald, whether or not myself or any of our other friends would depend on how they felt about being bald.

If it happened and it was something that upset one of our friends, then chances are as a group we'd all do it. We've got a good group that way though.

Yeah I'd go bald no bother, I suppose it's different for those who have been growing their grey lockes for decades.

    Absolutely, yes.

I love my hair, and I think I would look awful without it... but if a friend of mine was severely ill, I'd do anything I could to try and make them feel better. Even when my friends aren't ill, I still try to do all that I can to make them happy.

Getting news that one of my close friends was ill would be the absolute worst.

No I wouldn't as I don't need to shave my hair off to show a friend/family member I am there for them.

All this public charity all seems very good, but how much is done out of kindness as opposed to looking good on social media I wonder?
