    Messi proved to me that he is easily the best player in the world. Getting away from players when he's so heavily marked.. He proved his point again. I thought Argentina's defence was superb but there was no doubt that Germany were going to win.

    I thought Argentina played better but I knew they couldn't finish.. a problem which Germany didn't seem to have

    I found the game a bit "meh". Not sure why either :/ Generally speaking the last world cup seemed more interesting.

    Yes haha such an unfortunate looking child

    And yeah the game as a whole was one of the worst of the competition but that's often the way with finals (2010's was unbearable) but I thought group games and early knockout were brilliant this time around for the most part
