I did notice that I don't actually use the start menu that much and only to search for what I wanted to open/find.

But in terms of searching I personally only ever use keys to do it and the functionality via keys is identical between Windows 8 and Windows 7 so even that is a non-issue I feel. Originally Posted by xxMATTGxx

Yeah, I read an article about it then decided to see how much I actually used it. Then noticed I often press the Windows Key on my keyboard and then start typing away. You can do that in Windows 8 even with the start screen so it isn't much of a bother to me personally as well. Originally Posted by Chippiewill

I'll be avoiding it like the plague tbh, the UI looks as if it's really not made for the mouse and keyboard.
That said, if things have improved since the consumer preview then it might be a plague worth catching.

Tried it already and it'd be hard to get use to. Isn't it primarily for tablets anyway?
