I wouldn't know what the changes were I downloaded it after the update.

Much more modern, chats which I deleted in the past are deleted on this version, (on other versions they kept appearing, even after deleting).

Sorry to dig up this thread. I'm researching any feedbacks from skype and I would just like to say I like their new version specially the dark mode. Thought they have removed the search text but it's still there on the upper part where you also find people in your contacts.
