the number of sites isn't an issue... deleting the wiki etc won't do anything as they're not resource intensive websites. they just have a lot of data stored and storage is cheap

the reason hxf has a big server will be due to the main website and forum which will both munch on CPU - costs can't be decreased. if costs do need to be decreased, it means removing the forum

    nope

my knowledge on server capacity / efficiency / costing is limited. what i'm asking is, could habbox make any alterations so they don't munch on cpu

yes -- a lot. but it wouldn't be worth it and the reduction in CPU usage would be minimal. $300 really isn't a lot of money considering both HxF and hx.com are on the same server

    trust me

yeah but if the options were close habbox or cost cutting - is habbox as efficient as it can be?

habbox probably is as efficient as can be with the resources available, Tom (the tech manager) knows what he is doing, i know that more than anybody here

if it came to it somebody would put up the cash, but if Jin is working full time $300 is hardly much... besides, somebody else would happily put up the money (myself included if need be)
