Social media meltdown as left wing liberals are shocked and horrified to discover for the second time this year that not everybody else - the majority - subscribes to their narrow worldview. And that shouting racist at people doesn't constitute an argument or make you morally superior in any way to the person you're screeching it at. Great stuff.

A Donald J Trump Presidency, a Republican Senate and a Republican House of Representatives. 2016 has been amazing.

Hopefully good luck comes in threes. Let's hope Marine Le Pen now marches on to take the Elysee next May. Viva la France!

Even more good news emerging from state ballot initiatives.

Oklahoma has added the death penalty to its constitution.

Nebraska has voted to repeal the ban on the death penalty.

California early vote returns indicate it will vote to speed up the process of state executions.

Worth noting too how important this election was to the makeup of the US Supreme Court for decades to come. A few judges are likely to die/retire within the next few years which will open up a few vacancies. The next President being the one to decide who is on the court thus gets to decide the political slant of the court meaning the court will now have a very conservative slant for decades to come.

The only good thing to come out of this is that my presentation just got cancelled (and I still got the marks for it) as my seminar tutor is American and decided to turn the seminar into a political debate instead!

On the plus side, this was the better result when it comes to brexit.
We either get farage going to work in the white house, leaving people to wonder why someone who campaigned hard for brexit immediately left and support for brexit dwindles. Failing that, we have a US president which supports it.

I'm looking forward to see Trump and May in a golf caddy
