They are losers, thats the whole point? dorky converse and thick rimmed glasses? tis a compliment. I never said greasy hair is an emo sign, nor is an old mans hat, they arent, that fool on the bus probably has no idea what hes on about.
Check out vampirefreaks, there are many many emo's there, all of which look strikingly similar, and act the same.

I think the whole scarey gothic look is weird, I mean why not just wear ordinary clothes, it doesn't mean your not individual, individuality comes from the inside.
The only grunger/emo/goth, WHATEVER, guy that I think is good looking, is that lead singer out of green day, I don't know his name, but he would be okay...if he didn't wear eyeliner.

Being individual to some people means expressing themselves clothes wise, individuality can be shown by wearing unusual clothing, sure it can, and the gothic fashion is undeniably unusual, and certainly not ordinary.

To be honest, I think a personality makes you more individual than material and make-up.

Of course people like expressing themselves differently, and I accept them, I just think it's a little strange.
