You aren't from york are you? o_OOoh
Um, im off to do Film & TV Production.
Cumbria and Teesside are my main two ones I fancy
I also applied to bedfordshire, but they gave me a really low offer so I'm not too keen now haha
And I also applied for York, but I couldnt get to the interview and i didnt fancy it so i declined and i also declined from Kings College London to do Film Studies
I'm applying for Teeside myself but to do Media Studies rather than the practical side, and I went through with my mate for his interview (applying for the same course as you) and the was someone from york there haha, I was sorting out my late entry and why their Communications & Public relations course wasn't on the website, found out it was for international students haha. But Teeside is a hell of a university by the looks of it.
I have heard back from all 5 off my offers:
Southampton Solent: Conditional <= Accepted
Lancaster:Conditional <= This is my Insurance
Bucks New Universityeclined me
Birmingham City University- Declined me
Cardiff university: declined me cos they dont accept BTEC's :/
so looks like I am going to go to Southampton Solent University in September :-) anybody else going there if so do reply below P.S I am going to do criminology.
I love Doctor Who If you Cant guess, and My Rules:

2. Stay in the middle of the trail.
3. He who has gas travels at the back of the pack.
4. Have your heads examined.
5. You do not have to follow Rule #2 if there is a female involved or a cute dog.:dance::dance:
I logged on specifically because you said Cardiff don't accept BTECs... WHAT? There is nothing wrong with them.
I'm already at uni, but well done on your offers. Though those saying they didn't bother going to an interview because it wasn't their preferred choices, personally I think ya silly and should get yourself as close to those 5 offers as you can but hopefully you'll get where you want to go.
Finally got my last reply in from Edinburgh uni and this is the final result of endless UCAS track checking for the past 4 months!
University of Stirling - Unconditional
Edinburgh Napier University - Unconditional
Queen Margaret Uni, Edinburgh - Unconditional
Edinburgh Heriot-Watt University - Conditional (wanted a B in Higher Maths)
Edinburgh University - Conditional (wanted 2 Higher A's).
My conditional for Edinburgh was unachievable (only sitting 1 higher this year now after dropping higher maths) so I accepted my unconditional from Queen Margaret! I'm so excited for going!
Dundee - Applied Computing - Unconditional - Insurance
Dundee - Computer Science - Conditional (B pass) - Firm
Edinburgh - Computer Science - Rejected
Edinburgh Napier - Computing (2nd year) - Conditional (A Pass) - Declined
Glasgow - Computer Science - Conditional (B pass) - Declined
Not too bothered in the end, really excited to go to Dundee now. Just waiting on my flat being sorted and then I can get moved out
Oxford Brookes - Conditional - Firm
Plymouth University - Conditional - Insurance
Nottingham Trent University - Conditional - Declined
Lancaster University - Conditional - Declined (Grades far too high for me to be realistic so wasn't worth putting as firm)
Aberystwyth University - Conditional - Declined
All for Accounting and Finance
Just submitted my accommodation for brookes as well
Ex-Hxl Senior DJ + Ex- Assistant events manager
Just got conditionals for 2 of them
Does anyone know if it allowed for a University to offer you a conditional for more UCAS points than it says in the course details on ucas / site?
Just it tells me 240-280 on the site, put my predicted grades down as DDD and now they're saying the conditional is only if I get 360 :S Fair do's I can get it, but they state they're equal on their website. And other students are getting conditional offers on the same courses for less points.
Yeh it is, sounds like because of the way it's been done, that they have a lot of spaces and they accepted you just to fill them (unis are known to do that sometimes). Though they don't expect you to get in so they decide to push up the grades.Just got conditionals for 2 of them
