On a related note, the 7th Marquess of Bath (Lord Longleat had a game reserve, e i e i oh) has died from CV. Age 87.

Eccentric and typically British. His son, the Viscount Weymouth, will succeed him to the Marquisate.

It'll be exactly that, her imploring people stay home and follow government guidelines because unfortunately not everyone is taking them as seriously as they ought to be. Annoyingly I can already foresee the dumb dumbs of social media kicking off about 'easy for her to say from her palace' etc.

Not sure why the government would/should have thousands of ventilators in storage gathering dust. Clearly this is an unprecedented situation.

It'd be like arguing we should buy 1,000 coast guard boats and build a 30ft seawall around the whole island in case a 25ft tsunami ever hits.
